Daikin will donate up to $250,000 in equipment to support Daikin Comfort Pros in installing new HVAC systems in Habitat for Humanity homes.
Daikin employees and Habitat for Humanity both recognize that affordable housing is one of the nation’s most pressing challenges. Habitat builds and repairs houses using volunteer labor and donations. The Daikin brand is committed to supporting Habitat’s mission by donating heating and cooling systems and supplies to Habitat construction projects nationwide. Daikin has committed to support Habitat for Humanity as a national corporate partner. During 2014, Daikin will donate up to $250,000 in equipment to support Daikin Comfort Pros in installing new HVAC systems in Habitat homes in their communities.
Moreover, Daikin is committed to allowing Habitat to purchase equipment and supplies at below-cost rates for Habitat builds across the country to save in excess of $1,000 per new house built in the United States. Daikin views it as critical to support Habitat homeowners with efficient and affordable heating and cooling products. Daikin is excited to find additional ways for Daikin Comfort Pros to channel their commitment to serving their neighbors by working with Habitat for Humanity.
